What your customers look for before they call

Remodeling is the biggest purchase on this list, and the one that disrupts a home the longest. The customer wants to see that you have done this exact kind of project before: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, with photos of the finished rooms and, ideally, a short description of the scope and how long it took.

They look for a written scope and a payment schedule tied to milestones, not a vague total. They want to know who pulls the permits, who is on site each day and how changes are priced once work starts. In Arizona they also check that the license covers the job: some licenses are capped by project size and exclude structural work, so a clear license number and classification on the page answers a question the careful customer will ask anyway.

What this site pays for itself with

How many jobs at the average ticket cover each package, once. The ticket is what the source publishes; where it gives a range, we use the low end.

Revenue, not profit: your margin and how many visitors call you decide the real number. Each figure links to its source.
